Conveniently situated to explore the surrounding areas with traditional markets, bastide towns, at least 10 of France's most beautiful and ancient villages - such as Najac, Cordes sur Ciel, Belcastle, Conques, to name but a few. Discover historical sites and wooded gorges. Ideal to enjoy tourism, the many outdoor activities - walking, cycling, fishing, kayaking, climbing, horse riding, paragliding - or simply relaxing by the pool enjoying a BBQ with a glass of local wine whilst watching the sunset.
Quirky architechture in Conques
Two minutes drive away is Le Saint André pub with music most weekends (winter time too) and a small wine and food shop attached to the local hotel.
Within five minutes drive there are: boulangeries, boucherie, local produce and services, supermarket, bars, fuel, pharmacie.
Ten minutes away is Najac, one of France's most beautiful villages with its historical interests, actvities, restaurants and weekly night markets throughout July and August. The hill-top village of Cordes-sur-Ciel with it's Saturday market is less than half an hour away.
The medieval town of Villefranche de Rouergue with it's large Thursday market and amenities is only 25 minutes drive away.
Further afield is St Antonin de Noble Val, with it's popular Sunday market in the narrow lanes and beautiful gorges.
There are also there are the cities of Albi, Toulouse and Rodez to explore.
